Procurement’s Guide to Mastering Project Management
The job of a procurement professional doesn’t stop once the contract is signed. The purchase of goods, services or technology require unique strategies during performance. This follow-up to ISM 2016’s Statement of Work Signature Session is designed to help ensure that a process is put in place to review and manage a supplier’s contract performance, after the scope of work is signed. Attendees will learn how to (1) confirm the supplier stays on time and on budget, even when the needs of the company change, (2) manage risk as performance occurs and (3) successfully manage a project. The importance of planning, adherence to best practices, supplier evaluation techniques and proper reporting will also be discussed. Attendees will leave the ability to identify effective project management practices and their related processes.
