Overcoming Procurement’s Internal Image Problem

In many companies, Procurement has an image problem as a “clerical” function relegated to processing POs once the contract has been negotiated and signed elsewhere.  Yet, as these companies seek to unlock additional sources of value, Procurement must overcome this mistaken image to position itself as a strategic enabler of success for its constituents within the company. During this session, we will explore how Procurement can claim its proper place by understanding shared goals, securing leadership buy-in, and communicating successes.
